Flying Taklas

Postby M Sheikh » Sat Jun 16, 2012 4:15 pm

Hi guys
My 4 months old taklas were flying more then 1 hour with my Birmingham rollers everyday
Now unfortunately I don't have my rollers anymore.

The problem is now my taklas won't fly even 10 min and would just land
Don't know how to make them fly for longer again

It could be that they're moulting.

Something is off here.
They were able to fly for an hour with the rollers and when the rollers are gone they dropped to less then 10 minutes?
Besides rollers not being there, do you not see any other difference in the coop or in the air?

Now I'm takeing them few hundred yards away from my loft and release them
Guess what it's working they are going really high in the sky and flying more then 30 min
They are increasing flying time just the way they were doing with rollers
