Hello people my name is Yusuf and I am from Australia,
This is a great site and overwhelmed by the great information provided,

Here are a few of my birds from
Australia

What are your opinions on there origin ?
I started off with 2 pairs now I have inbred multiple copys from pair brother sister,
But in process of training and out of 15 baby's they are all performance wise somewhat different bbut carry traits I noticed each set of young them.two are different to the next lot so on but all carry close markings and colors are same with what we call percem and cift biyikli (beard)
I'm yet to see any of them out perform there grandparents ,
Which I originally starred off the two pairs from,
I dont no if im being impatient but also my flying schedule is really poor ,
I can only fly them ALL one by one on weekends
As limits performance to extresmly slow progress
Some in the bunch already at 3-4 months
Cant take off from the ground which really sucks
I pluck there tails and throw them down the street Hoping a prediotor won't get it they manage to pull out of tumbles and fly normal untill landing ,
Tumbling so much ridiculous like the wings are going to pop out blood hoping not,
Others are flying well but lazy on still tail riding but clapping 5-10 meters very slowly I see progress every two weeks ,
But I have many questions on what my birds origin is and if they are the correct breed
That vertically climbs

My original pair now grandparents pulled vertically sky high
Son and daughter also
The same with more combinations

Hopes are high like us all, as we have limited
Bloodlines where live and many are crossed
These are some of my chickens
Opinions appreciated specifically on origin and what performance type can I expect maybe?

Hi Yusuf,
I think, what you are doing/experiencing is very common to many young takla keepers.
If I can share some of my experience with you, hopefully with out sounding like a know-it-all, I would like to say take it easy little bit.
What I mean is this:
Looking at the photos, from the other end of the world, I can say (with some what of a certainty), that you actually have pretty decent birds in your hands.
At this point, if it is at all possible (and I know how difficult this may be) please ignore their origins, colors, markings and ornaments.
Your birds look generally in good health, with that all you have to do is focus on training.
Forget about "breeding the vertical climbing gene in them".
You mentioned that their grandparents showed you such ability.
So, it is already there, in each one of your birds to a different degree.
That degree however, you will never know if you do not train them properly.

There is a page here somewhere talks about the proper training techniques in general terms.
It's written many years ago but those rules do not change.

All this being said, look at that article and ask yourself what percentage of it have you been giving to your birds.
If it is 10% then what you are seeing is 10% of that 10%, in your birds, if that.

Don't be too hard on the birds.
Good takla keeping starts with the keeper.
When you increase your own performance to above average then you can start looking at increasing the performance of your birds.

PS. If possible, move the rollers out of that loft and fly them separately then Taklas.
If this process is also going to reduce the time you can commit to each breed, I would suggest, for the time being, getting rid of one of the breeds.
Let's do justice to one first.
