Hi,

I have takla birds and they have made a habit of landing on the tree. That is driving me crazy. I only have 2 birds for now, and I cant put birds on the floor. They spend hours on the tree. I have tried flying them hungry.

Is there anyway I can train them to land on the floor? Has anyone have recommendations?

Thank you Kurt. I am having a hard time with one bird. There were 2 of them that was landing on the tree. But one of the has stopped doing this. In a way I cant blame the birds, I do have a big tree in my small size yard, and it seems that it is very hard for a performing bird to land there. The bird first lands on the top of the tree then jumps from branch to branch tumbling, then from the lowest branch lands on the roof from there to the deck rails, then to the deck floor, and then comes jumping down from the stairs to the coop.

Maybe its just a bird that is too hard or SERT bird. For now the tree hugger is my best performing bird. I will try the second step you have mentioned. This is very valuable info for me. Many many thanks.
